Kumar Kandaswamy

Kumar Kandaswamy joined Best Buy in March 2010 to lead the Emerging Platform business where he is responsible for business development, platform marketing and partner relations. Prior to joining Best Buy, Kumar was the Head of eBay Developers Program and Platform Product where he led eBay's platform business and drove eBay's next generation platform initiative. Kumar has 20 years of high tech industry experience. Kumar joined eBay in 2006 to head the Developer Platform Strategy at eBay. Prior to joining eBay, Kumar spent over 10 years working for Intel in a variety of technical and business leadership roles including Software Engineering, IT/Operations and Product Management roles.

Kumar graduated from the Annamalai University, India with bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering, received a master's degree in management information system from the Pondicherry University, India and M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
