Kunal Shah

I have always been passionate about helping people through technology. This passion has fueled me to build Seniorly, an online marketplace focused bringing people and businesses together by bridging a technology gap. I was born and brought up in India and moved to America to pursue a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. I continued my education by getting a masters degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, where I did a thesis on reducing traffic congestion using inter-vehicular communication.

I worked at Cisco for 5 years, where I learnt to build scalable, industry quality Content Delivery Network application for several tier 1-service providers. In 2011, I left Cisco to join Adap.tv, a highly successful startup within the online video advertising domain, which was later, bought by AOL. At Adap.tv, I was part of a team that built a high throughput and low latency ad delivery platform and also contributed to open source projects. I love to travel and experience different cultures. When he is not in the office, he is either on the road biking or planning a hike.
