Kyle Bradford

Kyle is the author of ChopperPapa.com. A blog dedicated to observations and intelligent discussions about divorce, relationships, and single parenting with topics such as coping after an affair, co-parenting, relationships and kids, dealing with ex-spouses, and other tidbits he affectionally refers to as ‘intellectual roadkill’. Launched in late 2010 the website is not the ubiquitious ‘daddy blog’ about potty training, naps, and minivans. Once referred to as “Confucius on a Chopper” he brings a shrewd and candid approach to the weighty issues all single parents face from the male perspective.

A single father for a decade, through his own mistakes during that time he is intimately familiar the struggles single parents endure whether it’s answering our children’s questions about divorce, holidays alone, or finding love again.

His relevant topics take aim at the very heart of what it means to be a parent in what he calls the ‘modern family’ with pieces such as “When to introduce your kids to the new girlfriend”, the “Seven Battles” series, a “Manifesto on Absent Fathers”, “What it takes to be a great single dad”, and "I'm a single dad not a child molester".

With a love for 70’s soft rock and custom motorcycles his readers never know what’s coming next whether it’s a post about shopping for your significant other, the impact of pornography on men, his Sick Cycle series, or his musical column ‘Retro-rewind’.
