Kyle Worrel

Charlotte, North Carolina, resident, Kyle Worrel attends Elon University in his home state. A double major in Business Entrepreneurship and Business Management, Mr. Worrel is a Business Finance minor. Kyle Worrel entered Elon University with high school academic honors, including the 2011 Leadership and Learning Student of the Year.

Leading up to his undergraduate studies, Kyle Worrel exhibited leadership qualities in high school. From ninth through 12th grades at Charlotte’s South Mecklenburg High School, he was active in the B’nai Brith Youth Organization (BBYO). In his sophomore and junior years, Mr. Worrel served on the BBYO Board and as Vice President of Communications, as well as participated in the international organization’s efforts to promote leadership qualities and personal development in Jewish youth.

During the last three years at South Mecklenburg, Mr. Worrel contributed his support to the Mecklenburg Ministries Youth Leadership Council (MMYLC) and served as Vice President of Communications in 11th grade. A gathering of young people who exhibit leadership in their religious communities, MMYLC serves the Charlotte area with community service projects from an interfaith perspective.

Throughout his high school years, Kyle Worrel displayed a consistent commitment to serving others and to leadership in his academic and wider communities. He met high academic standards as a member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club.
