Growing up a solitary 80's latch-key kid, Miami Beach Artist John Lacko enjoyed a steady diet of pirated Japanese cable game shows, evil cartoon monster movies and pixel chomping Atari foes while consuming an abundant supply of tooth rotting sugary snacks.

This turned out to be the fertile ground for his insightful imagination.

Handcrafting his artwork with needles, pencils & pixels, John spends his days creating computer characters for indie magazines and national retail chains and his nights tinkering in his honeycomb hideout garage making up new colors and setting design trends with his nefarious online network of international amigos.

Channeling his techniques in illustrative story telling and demented design thinking, John's has worked with many top clients, including in the Vans Warped Tour, Hasbro Toys, Hello Kitty, Fangoria Magazine, Fuse TV, Adidas, XM Radio, Bravo TV's "Project Runway," Alternative Press Magazine and Macy's Department Store.
