Ladan Salmasi Khalili

Now retired, Ladan Salmasi Khalili possesses extensive work experience in hospital laboratory settings. She earned her Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, graduating with honors from the Community College of Philadelphia in 1993 and going on to work at the Temple University Hospital Cancer Center in Philadelphia for two years. During her tenure there, Ladan Salmasi Khalili performed a wide variety of lab procedures and assisted physicians with the tests necessary to diagnose cancer.

In 1998, Ladan Salmasi Khalili accepted a position as a Medical Lab Technologist position at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania. She performed hematology, chemistry, and microbiology diagnostic tests at the medical facility. After becoming the supervisor at the laboratory, she developed new procedures for a number of tests. By the time she retired in 2011, she had received several awards and letters of recognition for her service at Holy Redeemer.

Since retiring, she has focused on supporting charitable causes and organizations. She holds a particular interest in environmental and animal protection issues. She also enjoys traveling, attending the theater, and spending time with loved ones.
