Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent attorney Lana Manitta received a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Law from Binghamton University (SUNY) before going on to earn a law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown, Lana Manitta was a Notes & Comments editor for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal, represented clients unable to afford an attorney as a participant in the Law Students in Court Clinical Program, and worked as a law clerk at firms Koonz, McKenney, Johnson, DePaolis & Lightfoot in Washington, D.C., and Martin, Arif, Petrovich & Walsh ("MAPW") in Burke, Virginia.

After graduating from law school, Lana Manitta began her career as an associate attorney at the Springfield, Virginia, office of MAPW where she gained experience in practice areas ranging from criminal and family law to estate planning and commercial litigation. As a senior attorney at Rich Greenberg Rosenthal & Costle, LLP, she handled all aspects of criminal and family law cases, including client screening, pre-trial investigation, motions and trial work.

Since 2008, Lana Manitta has served as a partner at the Alexandria, Virginia-based law office of Rich Rosenthal Brincefield Manitta Dzubin & Kroeger, LLP. Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia, she concentrates her current practice on representing of defendants in criminal cases brought before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. In addition, she litigates selected family law cases before the Virginia Juvenile & Domestic Relations and Circuit Courts.
