When asked about my performance, my second grade teacher told my mom, "Ya know — she would really excel here if she just applied herself as much academically, as she does socially."

Little did she know, being the socially inclined creative I was, that I'd become wildly successful in the constantly evolving digital media field.

It all began when my childhood dream of becoming a pop star overdosed on '90s boy band culture and became a has-been. I felt drawn to journalism and publishing because of its inherent duality. The process of crafting stories demands structure and organization, but the final product, if done well, should be a strong, tightrope-thin storyline the author and reader both feel between their fingers and brow — a Balanchine-quality balancing act between fact, memory, and poetry.

Over the past five years, I've put my passions to the professional test. In wildly creative and competitive atmospheres, I’ve helped both build and optimize digital marketing strategies for established brands and startups with sometimes award-winning, but always radically innovative media teams.

How? By focusing and refining my work and lifestyle philosophy (that also conveniently matches my initials, heh) — never stop learning, doing, and growing.

When working with brands, I look to learn about the audience — their habits, their passions, their concerns. By creating content we explore and relate to the world around us. Through communication and constant iteration, we grow brand affinity, customer base, and hopefully develop loyal friendships.
