Hello there! I am a junior at UMass Amherst, studying hospitality and tourism management. I'm interested in pursuing a career in restaurant management and development. I am very passionate about food & beverage, with high expectations for myself. I hope to make restaurants more socially and economically responsible through charity efforts, sustainable practices, and a commitment to the highest quality food and service.

I am a self-motivated student who is exceptionally passionate about the food industry. Not only do I love to cook and explore new restaurant trends, but I also have worked in the industry since I was in high school. Beginning with an internship in the pastry department of a local bakery, I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere of a kitchen. I transferred to the front of the house when I came to college, starting as a server at an on campus restuarant. I quickly found that I am equally as passionate about the front of the house as I am about the back.

Aside from food, I also love the outdoors. On the weekends, I can be found hiking to the top of the many peaks of the beautiful Pioneer Valley. I also rock climb regularly. I use problem-solving skills to puzzle out the best way to work my way to the top of the rock wall. Both of these activites have helped to make me into the goal oriented person that I am.
