Hi!

Professionally, I'm V.P. of Development at CCA Medical and have been for many, many years. When I started, we were using mini-computers, serial lines and terminals... Now, we use Linux servers using Apache and MySQL while the users utilize browsers to access our applications.

Personally, I just recently lost my wife to cancer... Our three grown children are doing well and a place I've called home for 20 years is still the place that I always enjoy returning to.

I read a lot - all kinds of subjects - sci-fi, physics, history and comedy are my favorites. I also love mental puzzles - probably explains my professional career - it's one huge, dynamic puzzle...

Lesiure? - Just being near or in the water... Lakes, oceans, rivers - even a pool. Water skiing, swimming, hiking - anything that gets me near water and provides a time for mental blanking out of the puzzle-solving side... (the picture was taken at Lake Jocassee in upstate SC on a misty mid-week morning - best skiing ever...)
