Laura Anderson

Health Coach, Fitness Instructor, and educator in Arlington, WA

In 2019, Laura founded Live & Thrive 365, a health coaching business designed to help others create positive, healthy habits that work seamlessly with their lifestyles. One of her goals is to help people understand that their relationship with food doesn’t have to be negative, distracting, or shameful. Instead, it can be positive fuel for the amazing human body, focus for a hard-working brain, and an enlightening eye on emotional needs.

Laura always had an interest in living well, but it wasn’t until she moved to the state of Washington in 2013 that she discovered her profound desire to teach others about health and wellness. Over the years she has become an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, an Institute for Integrative Nutrition Holistic Health Coach, an ACE Certified Health Coach, and an NASM Behavior Change Specialist. She is currently working on additional certifications for health and wellness.

With a strong desire to educate others, Laura has also spent twenty-three years as a high school English teacher. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

In her spare time, Laura loves playing softball with her friends, biking with her husband, and reading and writing while sitting in her office on her window bench. Since moving out to the PNW, she has added a love for Barre and hiking. She’s found as she has gotten older that she is really drawn to anything that works her legs, and she prefers movement that is a slow and steady burn over high intensity workouts. She is a life-long learner and a self-proclaimed problem solver who loves a good to-do list and colored pens. After all, who doesn’t love the check off the boxes?!
