Lauralee Proudfoot

I teach various computer applications at the college level - but hope someday to manage to get out of computers and into teaching other things - gender studies, communications, creative writing, Canadian studies. I have so many interests and skills (and education background to go with, even) but one must, after all, pay the bills. Hard to say no to computer courses in hopes that some non-computer courses will be offered.

In the meantime, I help hubby with his business - he kills things, I do the rest.

And I write. I love to write. Fiction, non-fiction, journalling, rants ...whatever. I have one work finished that needs a publisher, and am currently working on a YA novel called, at least for now, "Oh, Canada!"

I'm also involved in the NDP and volunteer with the Simcoe-North Riding Association. There's a lot of things I would like to see the NDP do better - but since they are the only party that consistantly values people over things, they're stuck with me.
