What is your story?

My passion is assisting others to find and write their authentic stories through the dynamic medium of digital storytelling. I guide individuals and groups through a creative process that culmintates in a powerful, 3-5 minutes "mini-movie" that includes the author's own voice with photos, video and sound that enhances the meaning of the story. Finished digital stories can be easily shared via the web.

I custom design your workshop with your vision in mind and work with people with all levels of writing and technology experience. Fees are on a sliding scale.

My recent clients include LaGuardia Community College Women’s Center, Violence Intervention Project, Bell Academy Middle School, and Dr. Al Pfadt, psychologist, who created a piece about his experiences at the Willowbrook State School, NY.

Having worked in the field of education for over 35 years, I currently serve as a School Designer for NYC Outward Bound Schools/ Expeditionary Learning. In my role as a school coach, I assist schools in designing and implementing engaging and rigorous curricula, instruction and assessments. I have taught at the K- 12 level, at Lesley University Creative Arts in Learning Program, and at Goddard College and have a master’s degree in Art Education from NYU and Ph.D. from the Union Institute.
