Laura Suppa

Laura Suppa is a teacher with the York Region District School Board, in Ontario, Canada. She has worked in the primary, junior and intermediate divisons. She is most passionate in integrating technology and social media into daily classroom programming. She is motivated by her peers both in and outside the school. Her active approach to building a professional learning community online, has opened up many doors and has led Laura to become an advocate for technology in schools. As a fine arts major, Laura sees the benefit of all forms of art. She is actively involved in many initiatives at school specifically related to Healthy Schools and Inclusion. In the midst of all that, Laura loves the company of her friends and family, fine dining, fashion, sports and country music.
