Fishing: - Fifteen years fishing mainly from Newlyn but as far afield as Rockall and Scottish west coast. Mostly bottom trawling with boats between 16-21m. Wide range of paid/unpaid consultancy roles in support of a better informed industry. Created the blog, Through the Gaps in 2015 to champion fishing industry awareness and to widen industry participation through the use of ICT and social media.
Fixer for BBC TV and other creative enterprises. Enabled degree and post-graduate students to engage with fishermen or to secure trips at sea for fishing research or creative purposes.
