Colourful, clean, bold design makes me happy, and I’m a sucker for stripes and wordplay. I try to incorporate an element of surprise in whatever I create — whether it’s a graphic, a photograph, a piece of writing, or something I’ve whipped up in the kitchen.

My professional background was in film / tv / broadcast media, but always dabbled in artistic side projects, like acting, performing voice-overs, designing jewellery, interviewing artists for a New York magazine, and writing lyrics for a Finnish rhythm & blues band.

By 2008 I was designing websites to showcase my various creative outlets. I quickly realised I enjoyed creating graphics, playing with colour, and tinkering with code more than the side projects themselves! In 2010, I decided to take advantage of my artistic yet practical nature and transition into a new career in graphic design. I’ve never looked back…

As I was born and educated in the UK and raised in California and the south of Spain, I consider myself Spanglo-American. British English is my native tongue, but I also speak fluent Spanish and conversational French. (And I do a mean Valley Girl accent.) As an adult, I’ve lived in London, Madrid, Paris, and New York, and have visited 5 continents. I believe all this globe-trotting is one of my greatest influences: it’s exposed me to different styles and textures, and nature’s endless colour combinations. And I like to think it’s made me a better artist and a more open-minded human being.

When I’m not tinkering about on my computer, you can find me reading, writing, listening to and playing music, taking my dog to the beach, enjoying something delicious, and spending time with friends and family. A perfect day would include all of these things.
