Lawrence Manuel

Lawrence Manuel was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He is currently living in Covina, CA with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters.  He's had 16+ years of experience designing websites and 12+ years of programming & developing web applications. He knows his way around the internet and is resourceful in finding the right solutions on and offline. He's well versed in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and integrating social network features to client sites.

As a designer/programmer he's done great works with technologies such as Macromedia Flash, DHTML, and AJAX.  He has worked with HTML from it's beginning (v1.0) to the current HTML5 platform that mobile devices thrive on today. CSS is second nature to him as he's used CSS1, CSS2, and the current CSS3 web standards. Web browsers that he works with regularly (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Dolphin). 

Outside of programming and design he's a great systems engineer. Lawrence is very resourceful in troubleshooting problems and is not shy in collaboriting with others when he runs into any roadblocks. He has worked with Windows (desktop) from 1.0 - Windows 7, and Windows NT (server) - Windows Server 2008 R2.  On the database server platform he's worked with Microsoft SQL 2000 - 2008. During his time at Kaiser Permanente he had the opportunity to work with DB2 and Oracle.  Besides for Windows he's worked with MYSQL, Apache in a UNIX environment (LINUX, FREEBSD, RedHat).

Current Skillset: ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET), Javascript, JQuery, LINQ, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, AgilePoint BPMS Workflow, UX/Graphic Designer, Visual Studio 2010, MS SQL 2008, Team Foundation Server 2010.
