Motivational Speakers
There's only so much forwarding around your inspirational corporate memos can do. Sure, the .gifs at the bottom are cute and enjoyable, the jokes are homespun wisdom distilled, and the quotes touch the heart in a distant, semi-historical kind of way, but they rarely make any impact at all on how your business actually operates. When you want to really move the hearts and minds of your employees, you need to bring in the big guns. You need a motivational speaker. Corporate motivational speakers speak to large crowds at a time, focusing on particular themes – chosen either by themselves or by their employers, depending on the speaker and the needs of the employer – and using those themes to educate, inspire, and, well, motivate. For a lot of speakers, leadership is the primary theme of the seminar/speech/what-have-you, urging your employees to become leaders in the office, their field, their profession, their lives. It's a powerful message. There are all kinds of speakers, motivational and otherwise, that you can have speak at your business, but perhaps the best kind are famous inspirational speakers – if you can afford them. These are the rock stars of their field, with both inspiring speeches and inspiring life stories, along with charisma, presence, and great speaking skills. If you have the money for one of these famous speakers, and you think your employees could use that extra shot in the arm, definitely spring for one! A motivational sports speaker tends to have skills, experiences, and a way of speaking that transcends the arena of sports. The lessons they are trying to teach you, lessons garnered through a life of sports and competition, are transferable to just about any field of business. As such, many of the best motivational speakers are sports heroes: executives, coaches, or players who overcame difficulty and triumphed, often again and again. Speaking to motivate and inspire isn't necessarily the same as running a business, or a sports team, or any other organization. It is an act of personal charisma and storytelling, the ability to connect with a crowd and make them feel the truth and passion of your words. That's not something just anyone can do. A good motivational speaker, on the other hand, can.
