Leah Harmuth

Leah Harmuth is an art consultant with a focus on emerging art, contemporary fine art, and design. Her interests range paintings and prints by Gerhard Richter and Richard Diebenkorn, to Tauba Auerbach, photographs by Ryan McGinley, Gregory Hayes sculptures, and Milo Baughman objets d'art.

Leah Harmuth visits art fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach, Frieze New York and TEFAF in Maastricht, and galleries and museums in New York City. Leah's art business background includes the Sotheby's Institute of Art, where she will graduate in with a Master's Degree in 2013, a business development fellowship at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; a MoMA's Junior Associates member; a founding Steering Committee member of NYFA's Young Patron's society. Leah graduated from the University of Pennsylvania summa cum laude and received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

Services include researching and assessing fair market and long-term investment value of fine art, as well as arranging appraisal and authentication of artwork by experts in the field. Leah believes in transparent transactions and in the virtue of demystifying the often opaque art world and is an ardent advocate for contemporary art.
