After almost three decades writing software professionally (and a few years unprofessionally before that), I still continue to learn every day. I have led teams in small and large companies and always manage to keep the business needs at the forefront of software development efforts. I speak internationally about software development, from both a technical and business perspective, and love to teach others what I learn. I write software in TypeScript… mostly. I am one of the founders of the Kansas City Developer Conference (KCDC). I am a decorated Gulf War veteran, and love to play the drums whenever I get any spare time.
