see that above? that's me summed up in ten words. i share what i'm passionate about. like food and cocktails. i spent three years as a community manager for yelp, shaking it up in the local biz scene in Boston & Queens, hosting events like this one, raising a nice chunk of change for Project Smile. i've spoken at Eat, Drink & Be Social, & MiTX's LBS Panel. most recently, it was my job to both teach & learn, as employee #12 and community development manager for Skillshare, where I created programs making education accessible and affordable. now, you can find me leading social strategy for big brands like JCP, UGG & State Farm. my spare time is dedicated to fostering world peace in our lifetime as a founder of We Will Build a Tree, a multi-media art & communication project. my creative outlets include amateur costume making with NYC-based cultural collective Kostume Kult, where I also lend a hand with marketing & events. my background is in style & fashion as a copywriter (Macys.com), and a style guide writer for Doneger. once upon a time, New York Magazine counted my guest blog post among their favorites during Fashion Week. and this other time, i created an anti-war art project that hinged on social media, which won me two tickets to Burning Man. thanks to my friend greg minasian of SPREADhouse for snapping this shot of me in the subway.
