Leigh lives in Canberra, Australia with his beautiful wife Sunshine, their baby Eve, and their dogs Mira and Lego. Leigh enjoys outdoor recreation with a passion for back country telemark skiing. He also enjoys tinkering with permaculture design and more self sufficient living.

Leigh’s professional interest is in educational development, focused on open education using popular media for networked learning. This primarily involves using social media for informal and formal learning. Leigh currently works with Sport Studies and the Faculty of Health at the University of Canberra, assisting staff develop teaching and research practices that make use of social media.

Sunshine wants Leigh to find a small block of land by a river so he can give up work and go back to being an artist, and learn to grow vegies, run goats, and raise babies.
