I have been a part of the communications industry since I graduated from college, starting in the programming department of a radio station where I facilitated promotions and Eagles football pre-game shows. As I transitioned to television, my employers included some of the biggest media corporations in the world – Viacom/CBS, Paramount Pictures and Fox Broadcasting and I earned multiple Emmy awards for program production.

Since breaking out into our own business, LGK Marketing Communications Collective, we have used our years of experience to help others maximize their momentum with the communications objectives. Our clients include small businesses, nonprofit organizations, foundations and corporate entities. I host a monthly podcast and live Twitter chat for small business owners to gain insight from marketing and business experts. The Marketing Mojo Show airs on the third Wednesday of every month at 1:00pm ET.

With a background in community relations, I continue to serve on the board of directors of the nonprofit Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP). This award-winning public-private coalition fights drinking and driving in the Washington area and has removed more than 34,000 would-be drunk drivers from the roads by offering free cab rides through its SoberRide© program.

On a personal note, I am married with 2 sons and have lots of books to recommend (and would welcome your suggestions too) from my book club discussions of 10+ years. I used the font "Lobster" at the top for my name because I'm a native of Massachusetts and it was our favorite summer staple. It remains my preferred dining indulgence, so how could I go wrong with the font?
