Leland Kim

I'm a Stanford-educated public information officer and science writer with broad experience in health care, traditional media, technology, social media and government. I'm also experienced in media training, crisis management and public speaking.

I work with some of the most brilliant doctors and scientists in the world at UCSF. If you need a medical expert for a news story, chances are I can find the right person for you. I'm also an award-winning former TV reporter, so I understand the importance of b-roll, nat sound, compelling SOTs and visual storytelling.

I received my Master's degree in Communications from Stanford University, and my Bachelor's degree in Political Science (with an International Relations concentration) from UCLA. I have more than a dozen years of experience in health care and five years of experience in journalism.
