Summary:

I am Associate Research Professor at the Department of Computer Science. My primary job is teaching and research projects on the field of Computer Science, specifically on: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Intelligent Autonomous Agents, and Multiagent Systems.
I have been professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, since 1993. First at the Center for Artificial Intelligence from 1993 to 2002. Then, at the Center for Intelligent Systems from 2002 to 2008. Later, this Center was restructured and its name was changed to Center for Intelligent Computing and Robotics from 2008 to 2009. Since mid 2009 I am Associate Research Professor at the Department of Computer Science.

Interests:

My areas of special interest are: Intelligent Autonomous Agents, Multiagent Systems, Machine Learning and Automated Reasoning.
Other very related areas of interest are: Intelligent Games, Swarm Intelligence, Intelligent User Modeling, Intelligent Interfaces, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Web Intelligence and Semantic Web.
I am also interested in education related areas, such as: E-Learning, Collaborative Learning Environments, and Cognitive Education and Learning.
