When starting a new project, I first get a coffee. Then, I think about what the outcome of this project should be. I start scribbling down each and every idea that comes to my head in my worst handwriting, even if it is the most horrible idea ever. ( Sometimes, those are the ones you go with, and they end up being great!) Next, I make lots of doodles and thumbnails. No scrap of paper is safe. I pick a few really strong ones, and then make some good blackandwhite line-drawings. This is where I decide either to go digital or to paint it. Read about it on http://www.leonpeeters.nl/
