Ambitious and energetic mathematically trained Dancer with extensive experience, which includes tutoring mathematics K - College, teaching Math Move and Creative Movers at Brooklyn Music School, teaching Math Move as a NIA activities specialist, event planning, assisting the Dance Faculty at Mark Morris Dance Center and training individuals with mental and developmental limitations at The Guild for Exceptional Children.

After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.A in Dance and Mathematics, this Alabama native relocated to Brooklyn to pursue a career in dance and continue work tutoring students in math.

Kilpatrick is currently developing Mathematical Movement an educational arts program for tactile and visual learners. She sees the method as a tool for retaining and understanding principles of math and science in a physical, applicable, and fun environment. The course serves as supplemental education to equip student for competition on an international level in math and science.

Kilpatrick enjoys teaching group MathMove Basics & Elementary classes as an independent contractor for NYC schools and families. MathMove Coordinate is a branch of the method for training individuals with mental, developmental, and physical limitations.

She has also presented her research for Troy University's Math Conference, BSC Honors Day, BSC Board of Directors Annual Luncheon, and Long Island University Dance Department.

Kilpatrick has an extensive performance background seen throughout the Southeast and New York City Tri-State area. Her artistic focus is inspired by music, science, math, and activism. Her choreography experiments with the role of audiences with respect to the elements of Earth and human experiences, physical explorations of spiral dynamics, political and social dialog, and ultra-contemporary motifs.

Kilpatrick's performance history includes original works by Germaul Barnes, Winthrop Corey, Giada Ferrone, Elie Lazar, and Teri Weksler; as well as restaging works by Robert Battle, August Bournonville, Bob Fosse, George Joffrey, Bill T. Jones, Mark Morris, Vaslav Nijinski, Jules Perrot, Marius Petipa and Jerome Robins. She has collaborated on many improve structures with artists such as Germaul Barnes, Maria Gillepsie, Amanda Selwyne, and The Rogue Dancers.
