Documenting the stories of our everyday, extraordinary lives.

Leslie likes to live a creative life and pursue the unexpected and different. She has always loved art and started borrowing her Dad's camera when she was 14. She attended the Alberta College of Art and Design in Canada and studied photography and graphic design in the communications department. She worked as a Graphic Designer specializing in websites and multimedia for almost ten years in New York City before leaving the work force to raise her family in upstate New York.

She's been a stay-at-home Mom for five years and has continued to use her creativity and communications skills documenting her life and telling her stories online. She began blogging in 2005, focusing on life in New York, creativity, pregnancy, childbirth and parenting and has now begun to revive her original passion for photography and art on her website Lights and Letters.

She is increasingly interested in other people's stories and is currently developing projects to illuminate those things in all of our lives that are timeless and cherished. There are stories to be told everywhere; in the objects and environments that surround us, in our actions and routines and especially in our past. What is your story?
