Jayne Lessard

High Point, NC

An experienced therapist and dedicated career coach, Jayne Lessard recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her North Carolina private practice, where she helps clients cope with issues ranging from low self-esteem to clinical depression and addiction. Also an overseas staff counselor with the Samaritan's Purse Spiritual Care Team, Jayne Lessard has counseled team members in more than 26 countries across the world. She comes to these roles with more than 13 years of experience in clinical settings, including a 10-year tenure as the youngest executive director in the history of the High Point Family Service Agency.

Jayne Lessard holds a master of arts in clinical psychology from Wheaton College, where she had earlier received a bachelor of science in physical education. A two-sport athlete as an undergraduate, she went on to coach varsity basketball at Montreat-Anderson College, helping the team to achieve its first winning record. She remains an avid athlete and currently enjoys such active hobbies as hiking and kayaking. A wife and mother, Ms. Lessard has a son who is an accomplished college athlete and a daughter who is working toward a career in medicine.
