Sarah Pohl

Hey, I'm Sarah Pohl. I studied biology until October 2010, then worked in online marketing for a year and a half, and now I'm doing my PhD in bioinformatics. I enjoy programming in python and also more and more in R. I'm working at the Twincore in Hannover and partly at the HZI in Braunschweig, both times in the group "Molecular Bacteriology" of Susanne Häußler.

As you can see on the left, I am a fan of origami and photopgraphy. To complete the set of arts: I also play the flute and trombone, and - as passionate reader - enjoy writing fiction (short stuff mostly, but there's also a book I'm planning to finish, probably after this PhD thing).
