I might mention my advertising studies at CCAD.

And what you want in a designer. You probably need someone who understands people. Who writes not to their brain, but to their soul. Then can get their souls to tell their brains to do things. Like buy your stuff. You need someone who knows that a free lunch means you'll read this far.
