Lindsay James

Born and raised on Ontario, Canada, centered in few small cities and towns in Southwestern Ontario, Lindsay was educated at the University of Windsor where she earned a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. Upon graduating, Lindsay had big plans of finding that dream job and settling in for the long haul while paying down student loans. That however, turned into a three year struggle trying to find a steady job just to keep a roof over her head - the result of graduating in the midst of the most recent recession, one might suppose.

A Mad Woman with a Box (previously Pin Cushions and Reflections) began in 2011 on a whim when Lindsay decided she wanted to start sharing her hobbies. Since then, A Mad Woman with a Box has been an outlet for her in many ways, becoming very important and much much more than just a hobby blog. It became a chronicle of her life, that of a well-rounded geek as well.

When not working her full-time job as an Underwriting Assistant , Lindsay likes to spend her free time reading multitudes of books, practicing photography, crocheting, attempting to write short fiction and blogging about the many projects she has on the go.

Lindsay has lived in London, ON since 2010 and happily calls it her home town. Full of life, the city has much to offer to a creative soul.
