"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" John 10:10

At just 36 years old I have and continue to truly live an abundant life! I love traveling (I've had the opportunity to travel to over 15 countries!), cooking (I rarely make the same recipe twice, so beware if you come over you'll probably be experimented on!), creating and anything that involves the water (does anyone want to buy me a paddleboard... or surfboard, I'll accept either)! I long to live a life full of adventure, fun, meaning and purpose where ever I am and to live a life that draws me closer to Jesus.

I started working with Cru (a non-profit Christian organization) right after I graduated from Miami University (of Ohio), ministering to college students in the Netherlands and in Macedonia for 2 years before heading back to my alma mater, Miami to be on staff with Cru for another 5 years. It was then that I headed to Orlando, Florida (for what I thought would be just 1 year) to work at Cru's international headquarters. Much to my great surprise, it was in my first year in Orlando that I met my fabulous now husband, Kevin Dennis who was in the process of starting a Cru ministry to interns who are a part of the college program at Walt Disney World. I caught the vision for reaching the 8,000 + interns that come to WDW every year from over 40 different countries and joined the team here in 2010! Kevin and I were married in May 2012... and it was the most magical day ever! Little did we know the journey God was about to take us on in just our first 2.5 years of marriage. In these first years of marriage, we carried to term with great love one daughter, and then another dauther, who both, much to the shock of our doctors, were diagnosed with similar severe birth defect early in our pregnancies, that would not allow them to live outside my womb. So, I am a mother to a little baby girl named Sophia Kyla, who was born on September 1, 2013 and lived for a wonderful 10 hours. And another precious girl, Dasah Brielle Dennis who was born on November 13, 2014 and lived for a sweet 12 hours. We met and buried our first two daughters within 14 months of each other. And though our grief is great, beauty, hope and joy are fighting their way through the sorrow. I've invited many into this broken and beautiful story God has written for our lives and continues to unfold and you are welcome to get a glimpse in at my blog.
