Line J. Barkved

I work as a research scientist in Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA) on projects related to water resources, renewable energy, climate change, innovation and participatory methods - both in Norway and abroad. My educational background is in geo science, hydrology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

I'm editor and head of the board at Masterbloggen- a blog that showcases the valuable contributions of master students to science and aims to excel the way research is made available and communicated to the general public.

During 2010 -2012 I co-founded and worked with the venture-backed MyEnergy AS - a web-based service that aims to make it easier and more engaging for people to be energy efficient. The start-up was acquired by Hafslund Strøm, Norway's largest electricity supplier, in June 2012.

I'm a lifelong learner and book lover that likes to be outdoors. I enjoy and believe in collaborative efforts.
