Lisa Ferguson

I am a mama, wife, teacher, friend and animal lover. I am a born and raised Winnipeger and grateful Canadian.

I have worked in my school my entire career, closing in on a decade - crazy! I have taught grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 and most subject areas. I began my journey as a teacher-librarian in the fall of 2011. I have been enjoying each step of this process of discovering just exactly what it means to be a TL in the 21st century.

I love reading, horse back riding, hiking, spending time at the lake, photography and just hanging out with the people who mean the most to me. I love to learn and spend much of every school year participating in PD events, school-based PLN's and now, my masters courses through the University of Alberta. I can't wait to discover what I get to learn next!
