Lisa Hollinshead

Lisa began her career in 2006 as a Junior PR Account Executive at renowned PR agency – Taylor Herring. Here she worked on popular TV shows such as BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’ and Channel 4’s ‘Peep Show’.

Lisa ‘s PR experience in Manchester spanned from ITV press office to boutique consumer PR Agency, Mere PR. At Mere PR Lisa managed the PR activity for bmi, a long haul airline. In this role Lisa had the privilege of managing and executing PR for the airline and got to host media famils to Antigua, Barbados and Moscow.

Since arriving in Australia in January 2009, Lisa has worked for a number of agencies spanning numerous industries. Notably, when working for Pulse Communications, Lisa worked with Twentieth Century Fox to execute the launch of Avatar on Blu-ray and DVD. Lisa also managed the PR for LG Electronics', Mobile Communications and Home Appliances accounts, which saw her travel to Seoul, Korea for the LG ‘Life Taste’s Good Awards’.

Lisa has been working with Maverick PR since April 2011, on brands including NRMA Motoring and Services, Schick, Reckitt Benckiser, Lion and L’Oreal Maybelline’s sponsorship of Australian Fashion Week.

It was in August 2010 that Lisa launched her first lifestyle blog, new to Sydney and a lover of the culture the lifestyle and the people, the success of the blog resulted in Lisa being invited to review new venues in Sydney and to attend new Sydney-based product launches. Utilising her PR ‘little black book’ of contacts and previous training in social media and blogger engagement, Lisa soon found that she had created an established blog in less than 12 months.
