Liv Combe

San Francisco, California, United States

Liv is a San Francisco-based travel and food writer and an editorial intern for AFAR, a travel and culture magazine. She also works at Tartine Bakery & Café in her (admittedly little) free time.

While studying and working at Oberlin College in Ohio, Liv began freelance writing, which she continues to do along with her current work. You can read her pieces on Roads & Kingdoms, Equals Record, Full Stop, Salon, LIFE.com, Nerve, Edible Cleveland, and Edible Columbus.

After years of extensive travel, Liv speaks French fluently (along with a smattering of Portuguese and Italian), is a master of Haribo, and is working toward magazine editing and writing job in the world of travel and food writing. She spends a lot of time cycling, going on exploratory walks, and baking and sharing the results on Instagram (and with her friends in real life).
