Live Again Movement
Non-Profit and Faith-Based Organization in Lagos
The Live Again Movement (LAM) is part of the Live Again Foundation, founded to help women build courage, drive and confidence to rise to overcome limiting beliefs and situations such as abuse and domestic violence and empower them with the right tools to bounce back stronger and better so that they can live again purposefully.
Our vision is to be a place of solace and purpose re-discovery for women who have found themselves in messy and painful situations beyond their control.
The mission is to help them heal, re-discover and re-invent themselves to bounce back better and stronger so that they can live again purposefully.
Domestic violence is real and very common in our society today.
1 in 5 women go through domestic violence and one of the reasons married women stay in abusive marriages is because they have nowhere to go.
What happens when a woman decides to leave, is stranded or pushed out of her matrimonial home can make or mar that woman for life. Sadly, there are not enough functional shelters where distressed and abused women can stay to bounce back.
This is why we are setting up the Live Again Shelter where distressed and abused women will be housed temporarily and empowered till they get back on their feet.
We believe that helping a woman live again is giving life to a generation hence we are relentless in our commitment to setting up a shelter that will be peaceful and comfortable enough to help these women reset and become the best version of themselves.
