Liz Cook

I'm a young professional living in Manhattan. I moved to NYC about a year ago after graduating from the George Washington University School of Business with a B.B.A. in Marketing & International Business. I'm currently trying to infuse my nerdy DC roots with some NYC cool. I swear one day I'll actually look like I belong in my Soho office! For now though, I feel right at home in my Upper East Side apartment (baby steps, right?).

I love everything to do with marketing & PR. I have a special passion for the area of digital and social marketing. I've also recently discovered a passion for graphic design (I'm slowly teaching myself Photoshop, and I think I'm getting pretty good!). I'm currently working in E-Commerce & Marketing and have discovered that I really enjoy being able to use my creativity on a daily basis to curate the editorial components of the website I manage.

Outisde of work, I'm interested in travel, fashion, and college basketball (I know, it's quite the combination). I was lucky enough to study abroad in Vienna for 6 months, and traveled as much as I could through Europe during my time in Austria. I'm dying to go back to traveling - I just don't think I could ever really see enough of the world!

I also love fashion and beauty - I read fashion magazines on my morning commute to stay in touch with trends. I'm the friend who everyone comes to when they're trying to put together an outift or just to go out shopping.

I was raised in Vermont, by all of my family is from Massachusetts so naturally, I'm a big Boston fan. I try and catch the Bruins & the Red Sox when I can, but my real sports interest is college basketball. I'm a huge Duke fan (Yes, I know) and I almost never miss a game during basketball season. I also do a mean March Madness bracket.
