Liz Lewis

Writer and Editor in New York

An avid reader, sometime writer, and frequent editor, I have been enamored with the written word from a very young age. That fascination channeled itself first into a hobby, and then into a passion.

My degree in history—both research- and writing-intensive—has prepared me well for my pursuit of this passion, and I am familiar with MLA, APA, and Chicago Manual formatting styles. I also have experience working on both fiction and nonfiction titles and have a well-developed understanding of the art of storytelling.

I am most familiar with the genres of science-fiction, fantasy, historical-fiction, and romance, as well as historical and biographical/memoir nonfiction. My specialty is in Middle-Grade and Young Adult genres.

When I'm not exploring fictional universes or polishing prose, I like to work with all manner of yarns and threads, experiment in the kitchen, and travel.
