Loida Garcia-Febo is an international librarian, consultant, researcher, speaker and writer. She helps businesses and organizations strategize international relations, services to diverse and multi-ethnic populations and carry out global research. She often speaks about these topics and others such as human rights, access to information, advocacy, networking and continuing professional development. She coordinates New Librarians Global Connection, a worldwide webinar series for new professionals. Loida has spoken about library and educational services for multi-ethnic populations @ media outlets such as ABC, CNN, NPR, Univision, Telemundo, New York Times and others around the globe. Loida is the President of Information New Wave, an international charity seeking to enhance the education of minority groups in the USA and in developing countries.
