Loretta de Groot is a Canadian Artist living in Brazil with a passion for Nature and Science. She works as an Anaplastologist making facial prosthetics, and illustrates for the science and medicine fields. Her fine art statement is that "there are many little ways in which it's possible to sanctify mother nature all you need is an idea and a bit of colour. So, take this day out of it's groove before you let it go, Paint It!". With this said she paints on both canvas and ecological supports in order to help direct attention to the preservation of nature. With a little paint and imagination she transforms otherwise decayable organic material into beautiful ECCOART that not only Mother nature herself can adore to hang around again.
