Loretta Vecciarelli

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers across a wide variety of settings, Loretta Vecciarelli has worked in the pharmaceuticals industry for almost 15 years as a sales representative. Having served as a valued team member of Nova Quest Inc., Loretta Vecciarelli promoted Zyprexa and Strattera, selling exclusively to psychiatrists in Westchester, Manhattan, and the Bronx. During this time, Loretta Vecciarelli helped to significantly shift the company’s market share in the area, moving its position from 67 to 8 out of 109 in just five months. She received several recognition awards for reach and frequency, as well as an award for consistently exceeding call average goals in 2008. Loretta Vecciarelli continues to succeed in business due to her ability to understand and effectively communicate highly scientific and technical medical information. In Loretta Vecciarelli’s nine years with King Pharmaceuticals, Inc., she acquired several drug certifications, allowing her to educate others on such drugs as Sonata, Thrombin-JMI, Synercid injectable, and Lorabid. In addition to presenting educational seminars to cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeons, Loretta Vecciarelli also assumed responsibility for educating area psychiatrists and neurologists. Loretta Vecciarelli sold a flu shot product directly to physicians and received certification for hormone replacement therapy instruction, including Prefest and Menest. Loretta Vecciarelli is fluent in Spanish and Italian and received a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Spanish in 1981 from Iona College. In her personal time, she enjoys reading and enjoys the work of Harper Lee, Robert Frost, Ernest Hemingway, and Margaret Mitchell. She is also a member of a women’s empowerment group in Westchester, New York.
