Lorette Farris is a seasoned executive with a penchant for identifying improvement opportunities, facilitating change, and substantially contributing to enhanced bottom-line performance. Her accomplishments include more than 20 years of progressive experience in all phases of strategic planning and development; operational and financial management; and exit or succession planning.

Within the past ten years, Lorette has served as an Acquisition Advisor with a Mergers & Acquisitions firm, proprietor of a Business Brokerage agency, and managed a small business with a mobile workforce. As President & CEO of this small contract security company, she was instrumental in restructuring the company’s operations; bringing technology to a firm that was reluctant to change. Ms. Farris successfully engineered a spin-off firm based on the technological and operational processes developed for the benefit of other small business owners and leaders.

Lorette’s professional background includes chief executive officer, president, chief operating officer, and director of compliance with two full-service investment-banking brokerage firms. Managing a workforce consisting of 7 offices with 300+ employees and overseeing syndicate functions for corporate finance activities, due diligence reviews, deal structuring, negotiating underwriting contracts for private placements, IPOs, and secondary offerings.

Her primary areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate securities, SEC and NASD compliance, capital formation strategies, and business development consulting. Lorette has extensive experience working with corporate executives and upper management in developing and designing company goals, plans, and procedures, including acquisition and exit strategies.

Ms. Farris was a co-host of Smart Business, a radio talk show for and about business owners and the issues they face. She has appeared in several respected publications and has been honored on numerous occasions for her diligence and dedication to assisting entrepreneurs and emerging companies. She has generously applied her expertise as a guest speaker, panelist, and workshop/seminar trainer on numerous occasions.
