Lori Guth Moffett discovered yoga in 1993 and became a registered yoga teacher and Reiki Master in 2004. Lori is committed to transforming health care through yoga therapy.
In 2010, Lori completed the groundbreaking Urban Zen Integrative Therapy program, designed by Donna Karan, Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman. This unique Yoga Therapy uses the modalities of yoga, essential oil therapy, Reiki, breath awareness practices and meditation to ease symptoms associated with illness and its treatment, specifically pain, nausea, insomnia, constipation and exhaustion.
Lori received funding, in 2013, from the Columbus Foundation to launch a program at Zussman Hospice to support patients, staff and family members reducing stress using Urban Zen Integrative Therapy.
Currently, Lori teaches three weekly Urban Zen classes at Yoga on High, in Columbus, Ohio. Whether you are recovering from an illness, are an exhausted caregiver or are simply someone in great health who is are looking for a more relaxed yoga class, this class is ideal for you. It is geared for students at all yoga levels.
