Lori Mirek has enjoyed a distinguished career in software business services, with significant accomplishments in the field of online money trading and technology. During the course of her career, she provided executive leadership to companies such as Currenex, Inc.; America Online, Inc.; Ameritech Corporation; and Oracle Corporation, among others. Lori Mirek’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.

Lori Mirek has received many professional and personal honors. Her strong business leadership during her time with Currenex, Inc., earned her firm such corporate awards as Best Online Foreign Exchange Trading System from Global Finance and Best Multi-Bank FX Portal from FXweek in 2002. Euromoney also recognized the company as a top site for forex cash trading in both 2000 and 2002. On a personal level, Institutional Investor recognized Lori Mirek twice among its Top 40 Online Finance Elite, Global Finance named her one of the 20 Most Powerful Women in Global Finance, and B2B Magazine included her in its Top 25 E-Champions.

In addition to her work as a leader in major business and technology services corporations, Lori Mirek has also served on the board of a number of humanitarian, arts, and educational organizations. These include the boards of the United Nations Association of the USA, the World Affairs Council of California, the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Northern California, Cantabile Youth Singers, Sacred Heart Schools in Atherton, and she also serves as chairperson of the parish pastoral council at her church.
