Lorna Brody

Lorna Brody holds a B.F.A. from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Lorna Brody’s work experience includes serving as a clothing designer and principal with UFO Contemporary, Inc. UFO produces clothing for fitness, dance, and street-wear fashions. The company traces its roots back to the 1940s, when it was a military surplus clothing distributor.

Twenty years later, the company changed its name to UFO and switched its focus to creating cutting-edge trends that appealed to youth in both America and Europe. Lorna Brody previously worked as a sales manager and design assistant for South Seas Enterprises, a home and garden décor company. Additionally, Lorna Brody served in a sales and marketing capacity with ViRtogo/Motion Controls, LLC. She also contributed to the invention of eHello, a communication tool for individuals with speech impairments.

In 2011, Lorna Brody intends to partner UFO Contemporary, Inc. with other corporate sponsors to assist the Dancers Care Foundation. Dancers Care raises funds for breast cancer prevention and research by gathering the dance community for volunteer events.
