I'm a graduate student in contemporary poetry at Cambridge University. I left Oxford University in 2011 with a First Class degree in English Literature, then interned at Political Scrapbook, the UK's #2 left-wing blog, and StrategyEye, a subscription-based tech news service with clients including the Financial Times and the BBC. I've been a Junior Editor in the UK office of Software & Support Media and, most recently, a News Writer covering the European beat for The Verge. My freelance work has appeared in The Times, The Times Literary Supplement and The Independent, as well as on a number of websites in both the UK and the US. I've also done extensive brand strategy work for Greg Rowland Semiotics, producing in-depth, theoretically rigourous reports for a range of high-profile multinational clients.
