Howdy! My name is Luís.

I'm in my mid 30s with some experience in life, full of dreams and ambitions, and always looking forward to accomplish relevant things. Maybe that new big project which can have a positive impact? Maybe a great new invention? Or perhaps just doing those big adventurous trips or life changing events. All that gets my passion going.

Passion for open source software and research & development.

I love turning ideas into palpable proofs of concept and real useful things. I like challenges. I see standards, quality, security and scalability everywhere. I enjoy co-working with others, debating ideas and concepts. I'm keen to concepts such as agile and pair-programming. And I like transforming knowledge and experience into wisdom that I can relay and teach to others in trainings.

Drupal and Linux are technologies which allow me to do all that. And a perfect fit, for a DevOps speciality, like SRE.

My passion goes beyond work.

I love travelling and discovering the world and embarking on adventures. I care about freedom of expression, human rights, NGOs, culture, arts, science, nature, philosophy and history. And so communities and personal projects are part of my life.
