Luana Elias

Born, raised and living in New York I'm a divorced, single mother of 3 young women. Full time worker, part time student and world ambassador. Determined to have a life after divorce I started a homestay business. From 2006 until present I have hosted over 150 foreign students and travelers from every part of the world. I have remained in contact with most of my visitors that ranged from the age of 14 - 65. I have not only hosted foreign travelers but have taught them English and about life in America and New York. I have built an international clientele whereby hosting others have opened doors to me in other partsof the world. Over the years I have had the opportunity to visit several of my guests in their countries, France, England, Hawaii and other places that have brought me happiness, pleasant memories and lasting friendships. Every religion, race, creed and color that passed through my door has left me with a better understanding of the world at large. I have been blessed with a love of life and humanity, an open mind and an open heart and have learned to embrace each day that I am allowed to share my life with my family and my guests.
